We are hiring for Casual Registered Social Workers to join our team in Kelowna. Our department provides social work services seven days a week with varying hours that include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. This is a very busy role where you could be supporting acute care, community, long-term care, primary care and mental health clients. We welcome applications from graduates from accredited BSW and MSW programs with open availability for shifts. Registration with the BC College of Social Workers is a requirement.Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted. Working collaboratively with other health care providers and the multidisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides direct psychosocial care, counseling and group work, system navigation and advocacy, education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources while facilitating client self management.
