Position Title: Senior Technical Project ManagerRequisition ID: 54533Location: Oshawa, ON (Hybrid – 2 days remote)Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within our product delivery portfolio. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.The Senior Technical Project Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This individual will also take ownership of delegated tasks, providing leadership, accountability, and results-driven execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for multiple concurrent IT initiatives.Priority Management: Balance competing priorities to ensure critical projects are delivered on schedule.Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of communication between business, product, and technical teams to align expectations and resolve issues.Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.Process Optimization: Apply project management best practices and continuously improve delivery processes.Delegation & Team Support: Execute tasks delegated by senior leadership while ensuring accountability and timely completion.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in enterprise environments.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud platforms, and enterprise IT systems.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.PMP or Agile certification preferred.Spirit Omega is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
