(Senior) Insurance Pricing Analyst, Affluent Insurance Pricing

Job Description :This is an exciting and interactive position on an individual life and health insurance pricing team. In this role, you will work closely with your teammates, sales distribution teams, underwriting, operations, and reinsurance areas to provide insurance illustrations that are competitive and innovative solutions for our high-net-worth clients. This role is ideal for an individual who has the unique combination of:Knowledge of insurance products, including how they are developed and priced.Effective communication skills, both verbally and in written form; andThe ability to think outside the box. What will you do?To support our clients, you will:Model/price large and custom insurance casesBuild sales illustrationsProvide unique solutionsIn conjunction with your team members and other teams, you will develop:Models to test viability of complex custom solutions in order to provide recommendationsPricing assumptions for existing products related to custom solutionsProvide unique solutionsYour excellent communication skills which allow you to effectively consult with:Key stakeholders working with AIS (i.e. product development, reinsurance, inside sales, underwriting, new business)Advisors/intermediaries to understand requests and provide solutions on complex casesReinsurers to negotiate custom rates and enhanced reinsurance supportWhat do you need to succeed?Knowledge of GGY AXISKnowledge of insurance industry and its productsStrong communication skills (both oral and written)Strong knowledge of MS Excel (including macros), WordCareer ASA designationWhat will be nice to have:Undergraduate degree in mathematics or statisticsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to act as a consultant to internal and external customersAbility to meet multiple deadlines under tight timelinesStrong attention to detailSelf-motivated and adaptableWhat’s in it for you?
