Meet Your Future Team: FP&A at Arc'teryx is responsible for providing business leaders with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement. This role is dedicated to supporting our Technology function, working as a close business partner to ensure financial stewardship, inclusive of forecasting, planning and tracking of spend, in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the tech organization.

If you were the Senior Manager, Finance – Technology now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

Leading a small Tech FP&A team to partner with the technology team, driving alignment between financial objectives and the company's strategic goals Managing the budget and forecasting planning cycle Globally for the technology function, using a KPI-driven approach to ensure financial plans support business growth and performance Collaborating with the team to analyze variances against forecast, budget, and prior-year results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing actionable insights to senior leadership Leading the presentation of monthly global direct P&L reviews, partnering with senior operators to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational performance Partnering with the Technology team to evaluate financial feasibility ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives and ROI targets Working closely with the broader FP&A team during budget and planning cycles to ensure key investment requirements and long-term vision for the vertical channel are well-represented Developing and enhancing reporting tools to provide financial insights that support business decisions Managing the development and maintenance of the long-range, driver-based financial model for the Technology function, ensuring it reflects both financial and business objectives.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field You have 8+ years proven experience in an FP&A or equivalent role, with 5+ years in a leadership role You have a professional Finance designation (CPA or CA), with 10+ years of post qualification experience You have experience within an international brand operating across multiple entities You have experience within a Retail/D2C organization You are highly proficient in Finance systems You have experience preparing executive level presentations and the ability to present to C-Suite in an effective and concise way You are able to use numbers to tell a story, and can think outside the box and add value to an analysis rather than just stating the numbers/facts You're committed to personal and professional development, bring candor to conversations, and appreciate giving and receiving feedback You are a strong advisor with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at a global level You have exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills and proven experience building high-performing teams You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it $125,000 - $156,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$125,000 - CAD$156,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
