Security GuardGuardteck Security is currently seeking On-Call Security Officers to join our team in Kamloops, BC. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the best-managed security companies in Western Canada and gain valuable experience in a retail/mall environment.Responsibilities:Follow Guardteck and client policies to maintain a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment.Conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.Respond to emergencies including medical incidents, fire alarms, and disturbances.Use verbal de-escalation skills to manage and resolve conflicts professionally.Maintain a professional presence while providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.Document incidents and daily activities accurately using company software.Qualifications:BST Required, AST PreferredOFA Level 1 (with CPR and AED) Required, OFA Level 2 PreferredValid BC Class 5 Driver’s License (asset)Minimum 6 months of security experience, preferably in a retail or mall environment.Strong communication and customer service skills.Professional, dependable, and able to remain calm under pressure.Must be available for on-call/casual shifts, with potential for part-time hours in December.Shift Details:Typical shift timings are 0800–1600, 1600–0000, and casual shifts may be scheduled anywhere between 0800–2300 based on operational needs.If you are ready to become a part of Guardteck Security and grow together, submit your application with your resume today#JoinGuardteckGuardteck Security is a BC owned and operated security firm providing professional security services across Canada.
