This includes, making repairs to the internal and external structure of buildings, building items such as furniture and stairs and ensuring buildings are safe.Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety is a requirement for this position.The Restoration Technician must be proficient at the following tasks: insulating, drywalling, taping, priming, painting, installation of doors, trim, and hard surface flooring.The Restoration Technician will be responsible to adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
