Lumber Clerk

What you’ll do: Reporting to the Home Centre Manager your duties will include but are not limited to; Loading and unloading of trucks, assisting customers in the yard, making deliveries and keeping the grounds and building tidy and organized. Also responsible for inventory integrity and protection of assets. Which includes performing cycle counts as required. Must have a valid driver’s license (Class 3 or higher would be an asset or willing to obtain it upon Willing to be trained on the forklift.Who you are: You are looking for a career in Retail and: - You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve. - you must be able to read an imperial tape measure. - Building material / construction knowledge is an asset. - You are highly motivated. - You possess strong interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and Saturdays. - Must be able to lift 80lbs as needed.  - You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-orientated and strive to be the best in what you do.Core Competencies: Proven abilities in the following competencies is considered an asset: 1.
