Apply today to join our teamAs a Machinist/Millwright with VCH you will: Perform skilled work at the journeyman level in the installation, movement, maintenance, fabrication/construction and repair of hospital equipment using tools and equipment such as lathes, drill presses, cutters, electric arc and gas welders, grinders, drills, rigging, and a variety of hand tools. Qualifications Education & ExperienceTwo years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification Certificate as a journeyman Machinist or Millwright recognized by the Province of British Columbia.Knowledge & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment.
