OverviewRotational Sales Associate - Entry Level (Ontario)The Rotational Training Program provides hands-on experience across NSK operations, with initial 6-12 months in various departments (operations, distribution centre, engineering, supply chain, etc.). The program is primarily based at NSK Canadian head office in the Greater Toronto Area, with shadowing opportunities in the field (SW Ontario and GTA) and potential training opportunities at NSK Americas Headquarters in Michigan. Upon successful completion, the individual will be assigned to a Territory Manager sales position in Southwestern Ontario with the responsibilities outlined below.ResponsibilitiesWork with Engineering and Field Service teams, NSK support staff (Inside Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain, etc.) and the Regional Sales Manager to provide commercial support, technical assistance, training, and cost savings alternatives to Distributor partners and their end users within the assigned territory.Execute high quality, opportunity-driven sales calls at NSK Distributors, End Users, and defined Target Accounts.Manage time and territory to ensure complete coverage of the assigned territory and the respective distributor and end-user accounts.Utilize, maintain, and update Sales Activities and Opportunities using Salesforce.com regularly.Proactively expand sales on Strategic Core End User Accounts with all Distributors.Develop new Target Account End User opportunities with all Distributors.Proactively and reactively resolve conflicts and complaints, both external and internal, as required.Implement and oversee critical inventory levels for Key End Users; obtain product forecasts by part number from End Users and/or Distributors as required.Document cost savings using the NSK Asset Improvement Process (AIP), submitted monthly.Stay updated on trends, market developments, new products, and competitive information; report regularly.The Territory Manager position is remote.QualificationsA Bachelor’s or technical degree in business/professional sales, engineering, or related program is preferred (other related programs can include millwright, machinist, etc.).1-3 years of experience in professional sales is preferred but not required.Experience selling and/or supporting into Heavy Industries (metals, pulp and paper, mining, etc.) for Power Transmission (PT) applications.Experience selling and supporting heavy industry end users through industrial distributors is an asset.Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); comfortable using digital tools for effective communication and territory management.Key attributes: self-motivated, organized, and effective communicator (written and verbal).Preferred Residence Location: Southwestern Ontario.Benefits And EEOGenerous vacation and holidays, 1 paid volunteer dayCompetitive SalaryMedical, dental, vision insuranceLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityFlexible Personal and Health Spending AccountGenerous company RRSPUpon successful completion of the Rotational Program and transition to the Territory Manager position, the candidate will have access to a company vehicle and be able to participate in a sales incentive bonus plan.EEO StatementNSK is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
