THE ROLEAs the Director, Business Finance, Marketing, you will lead the team to:Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.Be financial leaders in Marketing, partnering to drive profitability through marketing investment strategies, performance metrics, and campaign ROI analysis.Plan and forecast for Marketing in the short and long term in alignment with departmental and corporate objectives and strategies.Deliver simple, relevant, and timely reporting and insights to Marketing Leadership, enabling visibility into performance results and supporting decision-makingTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Director, Business Finance, Marketing, has:Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in:Finance, Accounting, and Business Analysis in a marketing or retail environmentMarketing performance management and/or revenue growth managementFinancial modelling, forecasting, performance reporting, and deriving insightsSimplifying complex financial data for non-financial stakeholdersLeveraging AI, advanced analytics, and reporting tools for decision-makingA commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomesThe ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the teamA dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add valueA deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operateTHE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 CAD per year.
