Staff Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION As a Staff Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team building features to empower key internal users at HelloFresh to develop and plan the products millions of customers will get access to across our dozen-plus markets. You will develop engaging user experiences iteratively using modern technologies with focus on accessibility, scalability and maintainability. Here's what we're looking for Strong engineering and architecture experience interfacing with backend APIs and microservices with past experience building out an end-to-end platforms (backend & frontend) 5+ years experience developing in Javascript with minimum 3 years deploying live applications in ReactJS or NodeJS  Deep knowledge in web development best-practices when it comes to the developer experience, website performance & observability (ie: web design patterns, testing strategies & deployment pipelines) Proficiency in SEO, including a strong grasp of web crawlers, indexing, and Core Web Vitals Demonstrated ability to guide and support engineers through 1-on-1 and group mentoring.
