Our client in Etobicoke is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team in a forklift role. If you thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have a knack for inventory accuracy, we want to hear from youAdvantagesPay: $20 and $24 per hour, based on your experience.Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pmTemp to Perm: This role is designed to convert to a permanent position, offering long-term stability.Benefits: Once permanent, enjoy comprehensive vacation, benefits, and RRSP matching.Growth Opportunities: Access training and development to advance your skills and career.Responsibilities- Expertly utilize a Reach and Counterbalance forklift to load, unload trucks, and pick products.- Safely handle the loading and unloading of transport trucks and other deliveries.- Maintain high inventory accuracy through diligent stock checks, RF scanning, and proper labeling/relabeling.- Prepare and wrap skids, and maintain detailed, accurate logs and records of all shipments and inventory.- Accurately input data into software (like Excel) to track inventory and shipments.- Ensure a clean and organized work area (general housekeeping) and assist with other duties as required.Qualifications- 1 year of experience in a warehouse distribution setting.- A valid forklift license with 1 year of proven experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.- High school diploma or equivalent.- Strong data entry experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.SummaryWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
