What you’ll be doing: Exercising sound judgment when dealing with extremely sensitive and confidential information Assisting in formatting, preparation, and proof-reading of documents Maintaining the calendars for the assigned Vice President by scheduling all meetings, engagements, and events Responding to correspondence Coordinating meetings by booking conference rooms, providing technical support for virtual attendees, arranging refreshments, and preparation and distribution of meeting materials Attending meetings, tracking action items, and creating meeting minutes Assisting in making travel arrangements, including preparing travel documentation and making reservations for various departments as needed Preparing expense claims, reconciling corporate credit cards Preparing contracts, agreements, grants Working closely with the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO and Board of Directors Coordinating Calendars around the Executive team Assisting with the design and implementation of office policies and operating procedures Assisting with event planning, tours, and speaking engagements Providing coverage for other Office Administrators as needed Other duties as required What you bring to the table: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Office Administration Minimum of 3 years prior experience in an Executive Assistant position to Senior Leadership Eligible to work in Canada A valid class 5 driver’s license Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks Good listening and written communication skills Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Strong attention to detail Ability to work a flexible schedule Please note that the selected candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check We thank all applicants for their interest in being a part of our GREAT purpose Goodwill Industries of Alberta is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination of any kind.
