We are currently seeking a casual Community Mental Health Worker 1 to join our Mental Health (MH) Step Up/Down team at the Willowview Centre located in Vernon, B.C.What we offer:• Competitive salary and an attractive remuneration package• Career Growth• Employer paid training/education• Balanced lifestyleWhat will you work on?The Community Mental Health Worker 1 functions as part of an integrated multidisciplinary Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Team and performs a variety of life skills and general support duties involving clients who are living in their own housing. Reporting to the HCIS Manager or designate, and in accordance with established treatment plans, this position provides services within a psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction framework for the assigned client population(s) with severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders. This position also provides support to clients in the development and maintenance of the skills required to live successfully in their own homes. The Community Mental Health Worker 1 is expected to engage clients in various community settings as people with full potential and as meaningful collaborators in their own service planning, delivery and evaluation. Scheduling Information:Shift times are days, evenings and nights and shifts times are from 07:30 to 15:30, 15:00 to 22:00, 11:00 to 19:00 hours. This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week.
