To develop our local Welding Technical Support in Ontario, Canada , we are looking for our Welding Application Technician - Welding Solutions - Ontario. This is not just any job.....At Fronius Canada, we are experts in our field, our solutions are different and so are our peopleWhat you will be doing:Provide technical support to end customers and partners in Ontario, Canada.Responsible for supporting the sales process by conducting weld demonstrations, providing technical presentations, assisting in the configuration of welding equipment and acting as the technical expert.Providing training sessions for customers, partners and sales force.Participate in trade shows and provide technical support.Provide technical training for new product launches for Fronius employees and external customers.Troubleshooting and Optimizing welding applications on site or by phone or email.Conduct manual/robotic weld tests on site or at Fronius Canada documenting and reporting results.Provide technical presentations on our products and technology.Assist with installation and retrofit of welding equipment for robotic and manual welding applications.Document and report market trends, customer feedback and competition to Fronius InternationalWhat we are looking for:3 year diploma in Welding Engineering Technology and/or 5 years of Welding experienceGood hands-on welder (SMAW, GMAW & GTAW)Experience with robotic welding is an assetStrong trouble shooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work on multiple projectsStrong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRMMust be willing and authorized to travel throughout Canada, USA and Europe.Must have a valid driver’s licenseEnglish is requiredGerman an assetYou are seeking a challenging position where you can grow personally and professionally with a company that not only offers the most technologically advanced welding products on the planet, but have fun doing itWhat we offer:Competitive salaryRRSP matching plan for eligible employees3 weeks of vacation, andMoreIf you think you have the passion, drive and talent it takes to succeed with Fronius, we look forward to hearing from youWe thank all applicants, but only qualified applicants will be contacted.Fronius Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
