Description:ATCO Frontec is seeking a Red Seal Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our ATCO Facility Solution team in Calgary, AB. The Journeyman HVAC Technician is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation and dismantling of systems. Work may also include projects within the trade to install, maintain, repair and overhaul central air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems and combined heating, ventilation and cooling systems. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and weekends as required. Uniforms, PPE are supplied.Responsibilities:Completes timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies.Performs scheduled maintenance service on HVAC and Refrigeration systems and fixturesMaintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials usedAssists with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projectsEnsures all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are metEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and company standardsEnsure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirementsInstall HVAC systems in accordance with construction plans and specificationsAssist in planning material needs and coordinating deliveries Other duties as assignedQualifications:Journeyman Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal) with a minimum of years of experience Class license and clean drivers abstract is requiredResidential and commercial experience an asset Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ability to work in a fast paced, team environmentStrong commitment to personal and team safetyWilling and able to travelThis position has been identified as safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test, background check, and security clearance.We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
