What you’ll do: The Multi-Department Supervisor is a unique role in the food store. The primary duties are those of Grocery Supervisor, however, as needed, you will be required to work in any food store department. You will be trained on the basic clerk duties in Produce, Deli, Bakery, Meat and Cashier. However, will be considered a supervisor while working in Grocery.You are responsible for delivering exceptional levels of customer service by providing friendly and courteous engagement with the customers, and the timely completion of grocery department tasks including stocking products, ordering and warehouse organization. Staff Supervision is essential to this role as you will be guiding the employees to perform their role to the organization’s standards. When performing the clerk duties in other departments, you are required to meet basic production standards, provide exceptional levels of customer service and perform the tasks in a timely manner. Note: The successful candidate will also be trained as a relief baker. This is a specialized position and as such, will receive a shift premium when working as a baker.
