We AIM for excellence. What we offer Salary starting at $, vacation, benefits and a RRSP matching program Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependents The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun Job DescriptionWe are looking for a qualified and professional Class 1 Driver Long Distance to join our transportation team at our Lévis, Quebec site, Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 2:30 You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from customer sites and other AIM facilities. What you’re responsible for:Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle to transport metal materials while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policiesPerform routine inspections before and after truck trips, ensuring that the truck is in good working orderLoad and unload metal materials onto the truck safely, using the appropriate equipment, and secure the load to prevent movement or damage during transport, if necessaryComplete accurate and complete delivery records and any other required documentationProvide quality customer serviceQualificationsTo join our team:You have a valid Class 1 driver's license with FM endorsement and a clean driving record.You have experience driving manual transmission vehicles. You have at least one year of experience as a Class 1 driver.You are customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have good physical endurance and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as needed. You have a good knowledge of metal recycling processes and materials (an asset). You have experience with dump trucks/roll-offs.
