Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and organized dispatcher to join our transportation team at our Lévis site. This person will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, ensuring efficient planning and rigorous follow-up of activities. What you will be responsible for:Planning and organizing driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleetAssigning routes to drivers (in-house software)Responding to internal client calls efficiently, courteously, and professionallyEntering information into the computer system to document calls and follow up appropriatelyServing as the drivers’ point of contact regarding work hours and resolving issues, if anyWeighing trucks on our scales and integrating the data into our systemProcessing customs paperwork requests (USA drivers)Maintaining and tracking inventories in our supply yards on a daily basisPerforming all other related tasksQualificationsTo join our team:You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar positionYou are capable of managing complex problems to find the best solutionsYou have very strong analytical skillsYou have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and MaineYou are available outside of working hours to manage driver emergenciesYou have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)You are bilingual in oral and written communication (an asset)
