Job DescriptionJob Title: Dietary AideJob DescriptionThe Dietary Worker provides patient support during meal services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Adress : The Meadows LTc , 12 Tranquility avenue, ancaster Ontario L9G 5C2Timings : Evening 3 hours shift ( 3:45pm to 6:45pm)   Job Responsibilities To establish, extract, evaluate and document the needs of the business with regards to custom application developmentTo serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner;To assist in the set up and preparation for service of various items such as beverages, salads, desserts, breakfast, soup and lunch preparation etc.To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required;To assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at the conclusion of each seating as requiredTo assist with maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area as requiredTo assist with catering, and actively participate in special occasions and theme eventsTo assist in the orientation and training of new dietary employeesTo follow and comply with health and safety legislation and departmental safe job proceduresTo comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and proceduresTo be aware of the Resident Rights & Responsibilities and endeavor to respect and promote itTo attend in-service training as required in order to better serve the needs of the residentsTo attend staff meetings as required to be aware of changes in Residence that have taken placeTo complete all other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Must possess a Food Handler's CertificateFood Service Worker Certificate or be enrolled in the FSW program is an assetPreference will be given to individuals who have previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniorsDemonstrates excellent customer service skillsMust be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for majority of shiftProficiency in a second language is considered an assetEducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
