If you love engaging with others, have a passion for racket sports (especially pickleball), and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we want to hear from you About the Role: Experience Creator As an Experience Creator, you'll be the face of Fairgrounds—ensuring every member and guest enjoys a seamless, welcoming, and elevated club experience. You'll also lead and support our on-site pickleball programming, helping create fun, inclusive, and high-quality play opportunities for all skill levels. Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll help maintain daily operations, foster community, and uphold the energy and service standards that define the Fairgrounds experience. This role is a key part of shaping our community and delivering on the promise of what Fairgrounds can be. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests visiting the pro shop, creating a welcoming and fun environmentAssist members checking into the club and answering any questions in regards to court times, memberships and general inquiries,Assist customers in finding and selecting the right pickleball equipment, apparel, and accessories. Facilitate basic Pickleball programming (round robins, open plays, etc)Offer product recommendations and knowledge to ensure customers make informed purchasing decisions. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and courts. Do routine walk throughs to ensure all parts of the facility are running smoothly. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Fairgrounds' products and services, effectively communicating their features and benefits to customers. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist with social media when applicable. Promptly log and report any security incident/concerns when they arise. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, seeking resolutions when needed. Track member satisfaction and log data as you see fit. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting periodic stock checks. Job Qualifications: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or pro shop environment. Basic knowledge of racket sports, particularly Pickleball and/or Padel Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. Strong verbal communication skills to engage and assist customers effectively. Willingness to learn about pickleball equipment and accessories. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy when processing sales transactions. Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
