Job Responsibilities:Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready-mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.All other duties as required. Requirements:Valid 310T Truck & Coach license or a registered training agreement.Valid class ‘G’ Driver’s License.Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors, and air brake systems.Strong interpersonal skills with a safety-first approach.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to travel to local sites as required.
