We are looking for a professional and engaging Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect for our Data & Dynamics team located in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto or Vancouver Utilizing your deep and expert knowledge of Finance & Operations processes you understand client requirements through strong business and technical consulting skills and are well versed in optimizing Dynamics 365 implementations. You favor Change Management over Customization and are able to influence customers accordingly. You will work directly with Sales and Delivery leaders to support solution demos, design, and quotesA Day in the Life:Designs, architect and implements solutions with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules and ensure designs/implementation meet client requirementsAnalyze complex requirements and develop IT strategies and multi-technology solutions that are aligned with industry-accepted best practicesCreate relevant documentation as required including conceptual design, logical and physical designs, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations informationDevelop and implement solutions for the D365 Finance & Operations portfolio leveraging core Dynamics functionality along with Azure PaaS technologies and the PowerPlatformProvide the highest level of technical support within the support team, responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving the most complex application and integration issuesCollaborate with business users, Tier 1/2 support teams, developers, and Microsoft to ensure system stability and performance across the enterpriseServe as the final escalation point for all functional and technical issues in D365 F&ODiagnose and resolve complex system, configuration, and integration issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistenciesWork closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, implement patches, and support new releasesAnalyze root causes and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrenceCollaborate with Microsoft support (Premier/Unified) to escalate and manage critical issues (FastTrack, LCS)Perform system health checks, environment refreshes, and monitoring tasksSupport code deployments, hotfixes, and service updates following the ALM processParticipate in regression testing, UAT, and post-deployment validationWhat You Bring:5+ years of industry experience working with Dynamics 365 F&OProven expertise with multiple products in the D365 Unified Operations portfolio including:Financials & AccountingBudgetingProject ManagementDistributionTransportationManufacturingCost AccountingProcurementSales OrdersRetail3+ years of expertise with Dataverse and the PowerPlatform3+ years’ experience with integrations/APIsAbility to effectively communicate to different audiences including internal and external stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats and situationsProficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions)What Makes You Extra Awesome:Post-secondary educationDesignations such as Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate, PowerPlatform Developer, Scrum, and ProsciWhy Work at Long View?Great people and culture Career growth – Permanent staff positions, paid training, career life planning, and relocation and travel opportunitiesInteresting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesFlexible environment – A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness, and wellness$106,000 - $120,000 a yearExpected salary range $106,000 to $120,000 plus 15% Variable earnings
