This could be your next big move We are hiring Developing Investment Advisors into our Developing Investment Advisor Program. This is a highly specialized program where participants gain the opportunity to build comprehensive knowledge in technical, financial, and interpersonal areas to accelerate your path to building a successful client portfolio serving our high-net-worth clients. The program includes enhanced coaching and training and offers in-branch training on systems, product and service orientation, strategic business development, and dedicated practice management support to help you develop and grow your practice.Accountabilities:Build a client base of HNW & UHNW clients, families, and business ownersDevelop comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies for your clients based on their needsMake recommendations to the client regarding their portfolio's construction, security selection, monitoring, and rebalancingAction a business plan focused on building your client base and market share through prospecting, marketing and developing a pipeline that identifies and cultivates relationships with potential clients and external referral sourcesDevelop and implement sales strategies to proactively attract, acquire and retain customers / sales opportunities and referrals, to increase profitability and enable business growthTake a OneTD approach with your clients by establishing beneficial relationships between your clients and TD Partners to provide goal-based wealth advice across a full range of product and service solutionsProtect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks effectivelyWhat your profile looks like:Undergraduate Degree in finance, business, economics or related disciplineCurrently licensed as a Registered Representative with CIROProfessional designations such as CFP, CIM and/or CFA are considered assets3+ years of experience working directly in a client-facing, sales or relationship-focused role, ideally in a mutual fund or brokerage environmentDeep knowledge of the investment landscape, markets, and portfolio managementCuriosity and desire to stay on top of the latest trends and be a thought leader in your fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven entrepreneurial experience and ability to prospect and manage client relationshipsComfort with compliance requirements and commitment to ethical client serviceLife Insurance License (LLQP) must be obtained within 6 months of hireAdditional Information:Please note, we are open to candidates in the Niagara and St. Catharines marketsWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
