Title: GenAI Data Engineer Location: Toronto ,Ontario Duration: 6 Months Introduction We are seeking a talented and experienced engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract in Toronto. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in the field of data engineering and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, GenAI, and data analytics, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Required Skills & Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Python and GenAI technologies Experience working with ChatGPT and other GenAI models Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration and communication skills Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Cohere models Experience with Unix operating systems Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures using Python and GenAI models Conduct data analysis to support regulatory reporting and extract insights from large datasets Develop and deploy AI/ML models with a focus on natural language processing Work with the Axiom vendor tool to support regulatory reporting Troubleshoot and optimize data processing issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting Maintain accurate documentation of data pipelines and models Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in GenAI and data engineering Company Benefits & Culture Inclusive and diverse work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and innovative team atmosphere For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
