Description :Fraud ManagementAccountable for fraud loss targets and the customer experienceReviews daily fraud attacks to create segmentation and develop/implement fraud strategies while balancing the impact to the operational teams and customer experienceStrategizes on adjustments to shifting network rules, liability requirements or other exogenous factorsOwns the strategy design and configuration in all fraud prevention platforms (e.g. Falcon, TSYS, FIS, SQN, PRM, Citadel, DPS, VCas, Avant, Experian, Transunion), in alignment with the Change Management protocolsSupports case valuation and prioritization to optimize fraud managementAre a subject matter expert on the end-to-end operational process, transaction liability and regulatory requirementsProvide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making at the executive levelDesign champion / challenger strategies that lead to ongoing learning and improvementExpected to leverage that subject matter expertise to independently investigate new, high-risk exposures under very tight timelinesProduce timely diagnostics to identify system, strategy and operational issuesParticipates in defect analysis to identify and remediate coverage gapsIdentify, track, and provide solutions to ongoing fraud vectors and portfolio threatsThink forward and provide early gap mitigation to emerging threat vectors globallyPartner SupportWorks with business partners to understand new intent, and to identify the incremental fraud risks associated with that intentCollaborates with business partners to develop solutions that minimize fraud risk while enabling business partners to achieve bank strategic prioritiesOccasionally provides IT release support to ensure projects reliably deliver on fraud requirementsSupport the continuous improvement agenda for our operational partnersMaintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Fraud Operations, Internal Business Partners, Vendor Managers etc.Act as a subject matter expert and represents the team or bank at project meetings or industry forumsJob Requirements :Undergraduate degree from a technical domain (e.g. finance, engineering, mathematics/statistics computer science), preferably from a STEM program2+ years' experience in an analytical capacity Total number of experience required is 5+Experience using analytical software tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau and Excel for data analysis, automation, and reportingIn-depth knowledge of data science tools such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn/TensorFlow/Keras or equivalentUnderstanding of machine learning methods with experience in deployment and implementationExperience with automation tools and proven implementation recordAbility to quickly and independently structure and deliver on new problems not previous tackled by the bankDemonstrated analytical, modeling and problem solving skillsCreative, Critical, Conceptual thinker, ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusionsAbility to communicate strategy analysis to both technical and non-technical team members, either verbally or via documentationAbility to take initiative and work independently under tight timelinesAbility to work collaboratively and build relationshipsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyMotivated to constantly strive to find innovative ways to enhance capabilitiesPreferableExperience in fraud management is an assetKnowledge of machine learning is an assetAutomation experience is an assetKnowledge of fraud detection platforms is an assetAgile experience is an assetWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
