Stockroom Leader

OverviewThe Stockroom Leader is responsible for managing operation of the Quaker Stockroom and is a support function to the Trenton Site’s spare parts purchasing.What you can expect from us:Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to fit your unique needsA dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole-self to workInspiring positive change for people and the planet with sustainability goalsA supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development ResponsibilitiesSourcing and quoting for all maintenance stockroom requisitionsWorking with a variety of vendors to ensure accurate procurement of parts, while considering pricing and lead-timeCoordinating rush parts and service to support site breakdowns. This includes working with vendors, couriers, and customs brokers to ensure the correct part is sourced and, in the timeframe required.Manage stockroom staff (attendant/receiver)Ensure stockroom data is consistently updated and managed through cycle-counts, Min/Max on hand updates, and clearing of obsolete itemsReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Stockroom leader will manage Open PO and POs received to ensure accurate forecasting of spend and proper budget managementManaging delivery timelines by working with vendors to ensure accurate forecasts as well as ensuring parts are received in time for critical planned jobsIdentify obsolete items, and work with maintenance team to recommend a substitution and ensure and differences are highlighted for maintenance techs.Analyze current inventory and usage to identify opportunities for productivity or savings through vendor changes, minimum order quantities, refurbishment or moving to in-house fabrication/repair.Maintain RFID Portal and its connection to CMMS to ensure accurate parts usage recordsSupport and be an SME for the purchasing side of S4/HANA (SAP EAM) QualificationsTechnical background, strong understanding of parts and service for CPG/Foods manufacting industryOrganized and analytical to ensure good documentation of parts and strategic sourcingKnowledge of Avantis and/or SAP S4/HANAUnderstanding of procurement processUnderstand of Food Manufacturing processes and GMPsUnderstanding of good maintenance practices in terms of planning, kitting, and breakdown supportUnderstanding of best practices for inventory management (min/max on hand, criticality, etc)Why work at PepsiCo?At PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
