What You'll DoReporting to the department Production Manager, this position is responsible for wiring, mounting and troubleshooting complex electrical components and sub-assemblies of Custom Switchboards. Candidates must have medium to advanced wiring abilities. This role is not a fit for those who have only wired harness style or followed standard layouts of simple electrical components. Location: Milton ONSchedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pmPay: $21-$25/hrPreferred Skills-Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma Tools.-Have an excellent attitude and commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement and teamwork.-Have working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety operating procedures of a manufacturing facility.-Able to accurately layout, mount, wire, and troubleshoot industrial power and control components.-Understand various methods of connection and apply proper methods to the equipment you are building.-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced/changing environment.-Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.-Good PC skills, including MS office (Word, Excel and Power Point).-Effective time management and project management skills.

(Common devices include breakers, meters, relays, sensors, PLCs, switches, CTs, sensors)-Identify design issues in the provided schematics and raise them through the correct channels.-Ensure proper voltage level separation, current levels and industry standard colour coding is maintained when organizing and wiring circuits within panels.-Perform functional tests such as continuity checks and wire pull tests.-Repair or rework issues detected during the inspection/test stage of the job.-Work to CSA and UL code.-Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal KANBAN and MRB process.- Perform other duties as required. Qualifications- Experienced Electrical Assembler-High School Diploma or equivalency.-Minimum of 2 years experience in medium to complex non-standard wiring.-Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams.-Legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.-No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must reside within 80 KM of Milton, ON to be considered.
