Hose Assembler- Production Manufacturing

**Parker Canada **is hiring a permanent full-time **Hose Assembler (Day Shift 6:00 am -2:30 pm) **in our Hose Assembly department at **our Milton location.**

Assembling:

- Visually verify that provided materials match the work order
- Set up hose in a saw, cut and air flush the hose
- Insert and crimp fittings
- Label, cap and install any accessories on assemblies, per the customer order
- Conduct pressure testing when required by the customer
- 100% visual inspection to ensure Parker quality standards are met
- Tracking hourly production data
- Participating in team meetings and problem solving
- Abiding by company and/or regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations as it pertains to the job i.e. Employee Handbook, Health & Safety Policy, WHMIS, Code of Ethics,etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of high school diploma or post-secondary education
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an asset
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
- Knowledge of hose fittings and assembly procedures would be an asset
- Knowledge of ISO procedures, Lean, 5S + S
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team

**Salary**: $21.00 per hour
