Position Overview As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in the production of Nitrile Latex gloves. You will apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies to ensure smooth operations while troubleshooting and enhancing production systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the building and commissioning of a new Nitrile Latex Glove Manufacturing facility. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved production efficiency. Analyze Production and Quality KPI data to identify opportunities for process improvements. Implement process control strategies to maintain consistent product quality. Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of process enhancements. Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to reduce downtime and resolve issues. Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other methodologies. Train and mentor production staff on process enhancements and best practices. Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. 5+ years of experience in an engineering role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques (5S, Kaizen, VSM), SCADA, MES, CAD, and process control strategies. Strong command of technical English and ability to use office automation tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance indicators and business challenges. Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating problem-solving initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization. Assets Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. Experience in greenfield projects, startup operations, or major manufacturing expansions. Background in chemical production and understanding of chemical processes and safety regulations. What We Offer Competitive salary.
