About the role We are seeking a registered and certificated ECE Kaiako to join our team in a permanent, full-time role. You will contribute to an inclusive, engaging learning environment that supports tamariki to thrive, while working alongside a reflective and supportive team. Key responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality, play-based learning grounded in Te Whāriki Building strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and community Planning, assessing, and documenting learning effectively Embedding bicultural practice and celebrating cultural diversity Weaving sustainability, nature-based learning, and STEAM experiences into practice Confidently using ICT and emerging technologies to enhance learning We are looking for a kaiako who: Is reflective, collaborative, and values team-based practice Has a strong commitment to inclusiveness and equity Actively upholds Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday teaching Is passionate about play-based, innovative, and future-focused learning Has strong capability in planning, assessment, and documentation Brings curiosity, creativity, and a positive team mindset How to apply If this opportunity sounds like a great fit, we encourage you to apply.
