Observes and monitors residents’ response during treatment and responds accordingly to ensure safety; note conditions and progress for reporting to PT/OT Maintains equipment inventory and assists with department audits, cleaning and inspections About You In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring: A post-secondary education in Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy from an approved college or you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology Ability to provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check upon hire U-First training or a Dementia Care Course would be considered an asset Previous experience working in a long-term care environment would also be considered an asset Knowledge of basic resident care practices and principles A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care About Us Shannex is a family-owned organization with a vision of Better Living for every stage of life.
