Technical Architect L2

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect (Level 2) to design, configure, and support complex on-premise, AWS, and Azure cloud environments. The ideal consultant will bring strong hands-on expertise in multi-tier architectures, cloud and network security, and enterprise infrastructure design. This role supports major application initiatives and modernization programs, requiring deep technical leadership, solution evaluation, and integration oversight. Mandatory Certifications The candidate must hold active certifications in the following categories: 1. Cloud Architecture / Administration (one of): Azure Administrator Associate AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Client Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Solutions Architect MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure 2. Infrastructure / Server Administration (one of): MCSE: Productivity Solutions Expert MCITP: Enterprise Administrator MCITP: Server Administrator Proof of certifications must be submitted with the application. Mandatory Experience Requirements Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following experience in their re sume : 3. Multi-tier Architecture (Minimum 5 Years) Experience designing, implementing, or supporting 3-tier application architectures (presentation/web, business logic, data tiers). Re sume must explicitly state “3-tier architecture” for each project cited. 4. Infrastructure Protocols (Minimum 5 Years in at Least 2 Areas) Experience with any two or more of the following: DNS SMTP RDP/WVD S-FTP 5. Networking Components (Minimum 5 Years in at Least 3 Areas) Hands-on experience in at least three of: Virtual networks PKI Firewalls Routers Load balancers VPN Virtual machines 6. Network or Cloud Security (Minimum 5 Years) Experience must clearly identify security-related responsibilities (network security or cloud security) for each applicable project. Key Responsibilities The Technical Architect (Level 2) will be responsible for the following: Solution Architecture & Design Design and configure environments across on-prem, AWS, and Azure platforms. Develop end-to-end technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to support business application needs. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security policies. Technical Evaluation & Optimization Evaluate and compare technology solutions to address business problems. Identify potential system bottlenecks and recommend improvements (hardware, configuration, architecture). Assess hardware/software capabilities against functional and performance requirements. Integration & Deployment Support Ensure complete integration of technology solutions across infrastructure, applications, and data flows. Support deployment, operation, and maintenance of applications in on-prem and cloud environments. Systems Analysis Review system and data requirements, communication protocols, and performance needs. Determine appropriate operating systems, environments, and languages to support solutions. General Technical Leadership Provide expert-level direction related to infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security. Perform additional tasks related to technical architecture as required by the client. Deliverables Deliverables will be defined through Task Authorizations (TAs) and may include: Technical architecture documents, frameworks, and standards Infrastructure configuration documents and procedures Test strategies, plans, and scripts System prototypes or working technical models Technical presentations, manuals, and reports Status updates and project reporting aligned with client tools and processes Any additional deliverables specified in the TA Qualifications & Skills 8+ years in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or technical infrastructure roles Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise systems Expertise in AWS and/or Azure architecture, including networking, IAM, storage, and compute Strong understanding of modern security best practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills for cross-functional work with business and technical stakeholders
