Job DescriptionCompetitive salary + annual bonus Permanent full-time position Schedule: to be discussed (must be available 1 weekend out of 2) Work location: 1290 Chemin Dion, Sherbrooke, QC, CanadaAs the Assistant Branch Manager, you will work under the supervision of the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that exceptional customer service is provided, all while making sure that the company’s objectives are met.You will be responsible for, among other things:Being actively present on the field to supervise and participate in operations in an environment that can be outdoors, physical, and dirty;Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;Enforcing environmental and Health & Safety rules and procedures;Assisting the Branch Manager during monthly Health & Safety audits;Supervising daily operations such as scheduling and achieving sales and production targets;Supporting employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives on the ground;Assisting the Branch Manager with internal communications to employees;Working in collaboration with various partners to monitor and implement business processes;Conducting quarterly performance evaluations of hourly employees jointly with the Branch Manager;Performing a variety of administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, schedules, etc.);Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;Acting as an ambassador in any organizational change and playing an active role in its deployment within your branch.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service;Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a management role;College or university degree;Experience in retail or the automotive sector is an asset;Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.Desired Skills:Ability to empower employees;Ease in delegating tasks and conducting follow-ups;Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation);Problem-solving abilities;Strong collaboration and teamwork orientation;Good time management and prioritization skills;Ability to demonstrate empathy.Additional InformationCompetitive salary + annual bonusEligible for paid vacation from the date of hire; **Comprehensive group insurance plan;Telemedicine (Access to a doctor 24/7);Group RRSP with employer matching contribution;A pleasant and friendly work environment;Company-organized events throughout the year (barbecue, Christmas party, etc.);Exceptional advancement opportunities;Employee discount on parts at any Kenny location.Kenny U-Pull is a subsidiary of American Iron & Metal (AIM) Inc., a globally recognized leader in the metal recycling industry with more than 125 sites, 3,000 employees worldwide, and over $3.5 billion in annual sales.
