QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceCurrent licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Speech Language Practitioner. Master's Degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology. Valid BC Driver's LicenseSkills And AbilitiesDemonstrate clinical competence congruent with service area-specific needs.Work effectively as part of an multidisciplinary team, with other staff, and with patients/clients, caregivers/families, and other community organizations.Utilize sound judgment, tact and empathy.Demonstrate good observation and assessment skills.Foster and promote good public relations.Problem solve and resolve conflict.Deal with others effectively.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Ability to work independently, organize workload and establish priorities.Ability to operate related equipment.Ability to teach and conduct presentations.Physically and emotionally perform the duties of the position.Act as a resource person.
