We’re seeking a Bar Manager to join us at The Bison Named in Trip Advisor's top 10 Canadian fine dining restaurants and OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in Canada, we proudly feature regional, seasonal, Canadian cuisine. Working alongside the bartenders, focusing on hospitality and positivityManage inventory volumes to business levels, and ensure ordering, receiving, storing, and processing invoices are completed in a timely mannerCreate, train and maintain a drinks menu that is well-suited to the food menu, that evolves seasonally and with trends, ensures a good guest experience and maximizes salesEnforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the bar areaEnsure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial /local laws, and ordinancesMaintain professional restaurant image, including bar cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standardsLike us, you’re proud to be a part of BHC and so you have a strong commitment to BHC brand and team cultureWhat You Have:Passion and knowledge of beer, mixology, and how to make traditional cocktails and create new onesConnecting with people and building trusting relationships comes easy to youUnderstanding of the importance of communication and workplace cultureCollaborative working style and team focusAbility to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesExcellent communication skillsFlexible schedule requiredStrong work ethic and a positive team playerSupervisory or management experience is considered an assetBartending experience requiredProServe certification required
