This team builds the software and systems that keep SafelyYou’s platform running reliably in the real world coordinating and monitoring a large distributed fleet of devices and services so updates are safe, measurable, and recoverable.If you love distributed systems, reliability engineering, and “make it work in production at scale” problems, you’ll feel at home here.You’ll help us:ship software updates safely (with guardrails, rollout strategies, and rollback paths)improve observability and operational confidencebuild resilient Go services that support a large, always-on environmentmentor engineers and raise the quality bar across the teamWhat You’ll DoLead architecture and implementation of backend services (primarily Go) that support fleet deployment, health monitoring, and system reliabilityOwn the software rollout pipeline: safe deployments, staged rollouts, verification, and rollback strategies across a large fleetImprove observability and production readiness: monitoring, alerting, dashboards, incident learnings, and reliability practicesDrive technical direction through design reviews, technical proposals, and hands-on executionMentor and coach engineers (P1–P4), helping the team grow in both systems thinking and engineering craftPartner cross-functionally with Product, AI, Hardware, and Operations to deliver dependable end-to-end outcomesWhat We’re Looking ForYou don’t need to be an “IoT person” to be successful here.
