Our reliable product development and launch capability, coupled with our global footprint, make us a trusted partner for customers in the aerospace, hydraulic cylinders, flooring, textile, and geo components industries. Learn more about the history of Legge https://leggett.com/historyWhat will you be doing?Manage total facility Continuous Improvement initiatives, provide coaching on lean tools, and drive projects through implementation to completionDevelop Operational Excellence annual plan with a focus on LAMPS (Lean Tools) that drive labor redeployment efficiencies, OEE improvements and shop floor space gains.Lead cross-functional collaboration, idea generation, and value analysis to develop and prioritize VAVE pipelineResponsible for quickly adapting to financial gaps through adjusting timing of improvement plans, creating additional improvements, and overall supporting the branch financial planMaintain a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committed role model for our Company’s Beliefs and Behaviors.Adhere to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive IndustryFulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.We’re Looking For Someone WithBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Lean Management, or similar degreeMinimum of 5 years’ experience in hands-on operational roles in supply chain management, engineering or manufacturingAutomotive experienceExperience in applying Lean Thinking principles in a manufacturing environmentExperience in project managementStrong understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies and implementing these Knowledge of Six SigmaAbility to develop focused team activitiesExcellent communication and organizational skills What to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for Apply today and allow us the opportunity to learn more about you and the value you can bring to our team.
