Our unique competitive advantages give us unmatched insight into the demands of the consumer.Learn more about the history of Legge https://leggett.com/historyMaintenance Technician – Journeyperson Millwright – Rotating Shifts once per month (plus Shift premium) Clean/Air Conditioned, Light Assembly, Automotive FacilityUSW Shop Responsibilities· Performs preventative maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using the prescribed techniques.· Maintains log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance in CMMS.· Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards.· Makes use of all prescribed safety equipment and implement safe work practices.· Participate in continuous improvement activities.· Adhere to all company policies and practices.· Completes assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned.· Capable of working effectively both as a team member and independently.· Willing to work overtime on weekends and holidays as needed.· Responsible for knowing and upholding the H&S Policy and working in a safe manner.· Participates in the ISO/TS16949/ISO14001 certification. Qualifications· 433A Industrial Mechanic certificate required· Valid G Driver’s License· Working at heights training, manlift/Genie booms· Knowledge of safety and workplace hazardous materials procedures· Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills· Mechanical, hydraulic, welding & machining experience.· Basic industrial electrical skills· Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills Compensation Wage starts at $33.93 to $38.63/hour per the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Annual raises.In addition we offer Great benefits including prescription, dental, optical, a company sponsored registered pension plan, optional RRSP, and moreWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for Apply today and allow us the opportunity to learn more about you and the value you can bring to our team.
