If you’re people-smart, customer-focused, and enjoy staying active, this could be the perfect fit for youSome sites are large, so you’ll definitely get your steps in The role can be physically active and requires availability to work mornings, days, nights, and/or weekends.Wage: $19–$21 per hour (site dependent)Come discover our unique CARE culture and build a career, not just a jobhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1f_poCvzvkWhat You’ll Be Doing?• Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients, tenants, and the public• Write clear, detailed reports (incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports)• Watch for and report irregularities such as security breaches, safety hazards, and emergencies — and contact emergency responders when needed• Provide first aid and medical response when required• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of people, property, and equipment• Use phone and computer applications to communicate site activityWhat Makes You a Great Fit (Core Competencies): • Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Excellent customer service mindset• Solid understanding of non-violent crisis intervention and de-escalation• Sharp observation skills• Ability to stay calm, make quick decisions, and work independently during emergenciesWhat You Need: • Valid BC Security Licence• Class 5 or Class 7N BC Driver’s Licence (required for Mobile Patrol)• 6 months of security experience and/or 6 months of customer service experience is an asset• OFA Level 1 or higher is an asset• Strong verbal and written English communication skills• Good physical fitness - ability to walk for extended periods (most sites)LET’S GET STARTED#NI5 Education Requirements (All) High School Diploma/GED Certification Requirements (All) Valid BC Security Licence Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License OFA I
