Signing BonusWe are currently offering a $500 signing bonus payable for employees hired with a valid BC Security License to work at our sites at Campbell River, BC. The bonus is paid after 3 months of employment.As a Security Guard with Securiguard in Campbell River, you'll be more than a uniformed presence-you'll represent safety, professionalism, and reliability at a high-profile industrial site. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, dependable, and confident in maintaining a secure and professional environment. Security Guards play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort by providing visible deterrence, responding promptly to incidents, and supporting day-to-day site operations.Location:Campbell RiverPay Rate (Depends on the site location):$21.43/hr or $22/hr8 hour shifts or 12 hour shifts Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service to both the client and site visitorsRespond to incident/emergency situations and follow required protocolsCoordinate with the police or emergency personnel when requiredProvide visual security presenceDetect and deter unauthorized personsProvide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the sitePatrol designated areas and scan check points in an outdoor environment Conduct radio check ins, alarm response and security report writing dutiesIdentify and report safety hazardsPerform regularly scheduled site duties as required by client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Report Frequent shift activities and security breachesSubmit a daily written reportMaintain consistent records using company issued notebookShare and align with Securiguard's core Values - Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy & HonestyRequirements:Valid BC Security LicenseValid BC Class 5 Drivers License Excellent customer service and communicationMust be comfortable being able to work alone and in group settingsMust be comfortable working 8 or 12 hour shiftsWhat's in it for you: Collaborative Culture: Join a supportive, values-driven team where everyone has a voice and wants you to succeed.Training & Growth Opportunities: Continuous learning is part of who we are - expect workshops, micro-lessons, mentorship, and hands-on projects that build your skills for today and your career tomorrow.Purpose-Driven Work: Be part of an award-winning organization recognized for its culture of respect, empathy, and accountability - where every person contributes to making people feel safe.
