Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis initiatives and drive process improvements for our client in a consulting capacity. This role involves partnering with senior stakeholders, mentoring junior analysts, and ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective solutions that support organizational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the collection, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements from senior stakeholders.Conduct thorough business process reviews and recommend innovative solutions for optimization.Develop comprehensive functional specifications, business cases, and process flows for proposed solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and executive management, to ensure successful project delivery.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate defect resolution, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Prepare and maintain clear, detailed documentation, including requirements, process maps, and training materials.Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering best practices in business analysis and project execution.Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, recommending further enhancements as needed.Act as a subject matter expert in business analysis and process improvement methodologies.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.Extensive experience with process modeling and requirements management tools (e.g., MS ADO, MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments.Preferred SkillsExposure to ERP or other enterprise systems.Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is desirable.Duration: 4 months (strong possibility of extension)Location: 1 day a week onsite
