Vehicle Testing Specialist

Job descriptionHireArt is helping our client hire a Vehicle Testing Specialist to be responsible for daily testing activities for its autonomous vehicle programs.In this role, you will execute test plans, support a wide range of testing functions, and report on testing outcomes to provide crucial information for the software development teams.As a Vehicle Testing Specialist, you'll:Execute test plans on AV and ADAS development vehicles.Coordinate and improve testing procedures together with SW engineers and operations teams.Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results.Work with the vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently.Be a safety champion for the vehicle testing programs. Requirements2+ years of hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical experienceExperience with troubleshooting issues on computers or other hardwareMust be extremely detail-orientedA collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy softwareNice-to-Have:Experience in the following:Software development practicesLinuxSoftware tools/services like Slack, Jira, and ConfluenceGoogle WorkspacePrior experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or other automotive workBenefits:Pre-tax commuter benefitsEmployer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefitsFlexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costsHireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance401k packageCommitment: This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt.
