The Process Consultant, Business Discovery and Optimization, is accountable for providing in-depth consultation based on business analysis, and executing initiatives and projects to support Enterprise Digital & AI Enablement to achieve improvements on operational and business processes with positive impact on client and employee experiences.The incumbent will assist in the identification of problems/resolutions, assessment of impact, effectiveness and feasibility of proposed changes, preparation of recommendations and communication for internal client meetings at various levels.The scope may include working with multi-functional teams to develop insights, execute and complete selected short or medium term (60d / 90d / 120d) improvement projects or programs focused on best practice deployment, process, policy and/or procedure changes to support enhanced service and sales. The role will work with stakeholders at all levels in the organization from senior business-unit leaders and corporate management through channel levels. Expectations would include a hands-on teamwork approach to solving problems, planning, managing change and people related to all aspects of the business improvement initiatives.Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Process consultant in Toronto for a 6-month contractWorking Hours: Mon - Fri 9-5Advantages• Well known and reputable financial company• Good opportunity to grow within a large financial institution• Payrate: $62.80/h• 37.50 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday• Hybrid role, Wednesday and every third Friday of monthResponsibilities• Identify opportunities in operational processes and provide meaningful and actionable insights to deliver an improved client and frontline experience• Produce high and lower level process maps on current and future state processes• Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders (e.g. brainstorming sessions) using virtual meeting tools• Analyze data to draw insights, enable decision-making and perform cost and benefit analysis• Support projects of a moderate level of complexity or lead minor initiatives to enhance and upgrade new or existing processes, products or services by researching relevant data and developing proposals and recommendations• Participate in other projects to represent the area of specialization and provide input into the development and implementation of programs designed to improve end-to-end processesQualificationsMust have skills:1. Process engineering experience with either Lean, Six Sigma, or business consulting background -3+ years2. University degree or post-secondary diploma/certificate in Business and/or Engineering3. Experience in building an idea from scratch and iterating into an effective presentation slide – 3 years4. Ability to interpret, analyze and manipulate data to create different point of views in order to bolster proposed solutions.5. Experience in Microsoft O365 Suite – 3 years6. Experience in managing multiple stakeholders – 3 years7. Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating and resolving organizational, operational or process problems8. Ability to understand high level concepts quickly and turn them into process maps and presentation slides for opportunity identification9. Ability to design future state process based on solutions brainstormedNice to have skills:1. Prior FI and banking experience including, knowledge of call centres, back office and/or Branches processing environments2. Knowledge of people change management concepts3. Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt CertificationSoft Skills:• Ability to work independently or with a variety of team members in a constructive and collaborative manner. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships• Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with internal clients and vendors.
