We are seeking fabricators with proven experience in fitting, Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Metal-Cored Arc Welding (MCAW). If your skill set aligns with this opportunity and you are looking to join a team that values its employees, we encourage you to apply todayAdvantages- Straight day shift- A strong company culture of treating all employees with dignity and respect- Comprehensive benefits package after probation- CWB certifications on-site- competitive wages of $28-30 hourly with annual wage appraisals- If you can walk in with no training, a higher wage will be offeredResponsibilities- Metal-Core and Flux-core welding- Fit structural steel- Interpret complex blueprints with both metric and imperial measurements- Torches and cutting tools to size parts correctly to be fitted on main steel members- Utilize flame-cutting equipment (torches), chipping hammers, and grinders as required to size material and finish work- Use multiple different tools including saws and grinders as well as punch presses to fabricate new parts as requiredQualifications- Must be punctual- 5+ years of FITTING experience- 3+ years of experience with structural steel or heavy plate fabrication- Ability to read complex blueprints- Ability to read both metric and imperial measurements- Current or previous CWB certification in Flux-Core and Metal-Core flat positionSummaryDoes this welding role sound like it would be a good fit?
