About the Company

Our client is a well-established, mid-sized manufacturing company with locations in Mississauga and Guelph. They're looking for a skilled TIG Welder/Fitter to join their team in Guelph. This is a great opportunity to work with a passionate team in a clean, modern facility.

Training

Although this role is based in Guelph, initial training will take place at the clients company's head office in Mississauga.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lay out, fit, and fabricate stainless steel components
  • Apply your knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and fabrication requirements
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Build products according to engineering specifications
  • Plan and complete full-cycle welding operations

Our Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate: $22–$27, based on experience
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit
  • Benefits package after 3 months

Our Requirements

  • 1–3 years of TIG welding experience using a foot pedal
  • TIG welding on sheet metal (required)
  • Experience working with stainless steel
  • Fabrication environment experience (an asset)
  • Laser welding machine experience (an asset)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
