Construction Project Manager Infrastructure Roadways

Job DescriptionPartner Staffing on behalf of our client, we seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including roadways, highways, bridges, and civil works across the Calgary region. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical knowledge, and proven success managing multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced construction environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality project delivery that meets safety, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesManage full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout for roadway, highway, and bridge projects.Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution.Lead multi-disciplinary teams, including subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, and field crews.Coordinate with municipalities, provincial transportation authorities, and consultants to ensure compliance with specifications, permits, and regulatory requirements.Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity.Monitor construction progress, quality, performance, and safety standards.Review and approve progress reports, change orders, RFIs, cost updates, and schedule forecasts.Ensure all work adheres to corporate safety programs, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and partners throughout the project lifecycle.Support tendering, contract negotiations, and procurement of subcontractors and materials.Lead site meetings, provide regular reporting, and communicate issues and solutions promptly.Qualifications7+ years of experience in construction project management, specifically within roadways, highways, bridges, and civil infrastructure.Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (P.Eng. or PMP is an asset).Strong knowledge of Alberta Transportation standards, municipal bylaws, and civil construction best practices.Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale infrastructure projects concurrently.Demonstrated leadership experience with field teams, subcontractors, and engineering partners.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with project management software BenefitsPartner Staffing is Bringing Talent to Business.  With an experienced and dedicated recruitment team, we open doors to opportunities that you may not otherwise know about.  We are specialists in the field of providing high quality individuals to the Oil & Gas sector, Engineering/Procurement/Construction, and Utilities industries.  We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we might be able to promote your careerWe are always interested in your referrals as well.  We assist recruitment efforts in Environmental, Construction, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and AdministrationRequirementsRequirements • Minimum 4 years onsite construction experience • Minimum 3+ years of continuous superintendent or supervisory role experience (in construction field) • Strong working knowledge of current construction methods, drawings, specifications and building codes • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employment and other designated information • Self-motivated, creative thinking, organized, and efficiency • Excellent Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities and priorities • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership and team building skills • Level 1 (minimum) First Aid certification and knowledge of (WHMIS) Systems • Budgeting and estimating skills (computer word processing and spreadsheet programs an asset) • Proficient with computers, multifunctional processing units, telephones and faxes • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and skills in data entry • Valid driver's license
