RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Conduct compliance assessments for regulatory business requirements, processes and risks.

•Ensure necessary certification and audit controls are assessed and provide direction as needed.

•Coordinate and perform risk assessments, monitoring and testing to ensure adherence to internal compliance policy and regulatory requirements.

•Ensure prompt resolution.

•Investigate, review and prepare responses to complaints and inquiries.

•Administration of compliance management system.

•Manage technical process for operational and compliance audit program.

•Assist in development, maintenance and implementation of compliance policies.



QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Experience:

•Post Secondary degree/diploma in business or related program and related systems experience.
Skills/Abilities:

•Minimum 1 year of compliance related experience with preference for insurance industry. Financial services will also be considered.

•Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.

•Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

•Knowledge of compliance such as insurance regulations, privacy and anti-money laundering would be an asset.

•Ability to understand technical documents and legal/regulatory reference materials.

•High attention to detail and accuracy.

•Professional attitude and high ethical standards.
