Senior IT Technical Business Analyst

This 24-month contract offers the opportunity to drive modernization across primary and preventative health services. You will work at the intersection of clinical operations and technology, helping to shape the future of digital health delivery in a complex, mission-critical environment.Advantages• Secure a long-term, stable contract with an initial two-year duration and an optional third year.• Contribute to high-priority provincial health initiatives that directly impact citizen care and wellness.• Engage with a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from system replacements to innovative process improvements.• Work alongside expert solution architects and delivery teams in a collaborative, forward-thinking atmosphere.• Enhance your professional profile by managing complex requirements within a highly regulated health information landscape.Responsibilities• Lead the gathering, solicitation, and refinement of complex business requirements and use cases.• Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications for development and architecture teams.• Evaluate existing services and workflows to recommend specific remediation or modernization opportunities.• Facilitate workshops with clinical staff, leadership, and stakeholders to map out functional requirements.• Support proof-of-concept initiatives and provide quality control oversight during production rollouts.• Identify project risks and impediments while providing actionable recommendations to mitigate impacts.• Develop technical documentation, including solution papers, test plans, and service definitions.Qualifications• A minimum of 6 years of experience identifying business requirements and proposing effectiveness improvements.• At least 5 years of experience planning and conducting requirements workshops with operational or clinical leadership.• Proven track record in the design and implementation of complex, multi-vendor IT solutions.• Familiarity with health information frameworks, privacy regulations (such as HIA or FOIP), or EHR/EMR systems.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.SummaryIf you are a results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of IT systems analysis and a passion for the healthcare sector, we want to hear from you.
