Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production and facility equipment and systemsAssist with troubleshooting all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsTroubleshooting PLC Programs and Programmable ControllersConduct equipment inspections as required or as outlined by the preventative maintenance schedule to detect and diagnose issuesReport detailed records of work performed to ManagementContribute to plant upgrades and improvementsRequirementsMust hold a valid provincial certification as a Journeyman ElectricianJourneyman Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or equivalent experience is considered an asset5 to 7 years’ experience in a heavy industrial environmentStrong troubleshooting/problem solving skills with the ability to clearly communicateStrong Electrical and PLC experience is essentialExperience in the maintenance of overhead cranes is considered an assetWelding tickets considered an assetAvailable to work shifts on a flexible basis including short notice of overtime As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon Limited offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
